I've always dreamed of flying. After a few lessons, that passion was definitely still there, but honestly, getting a private pilot's license just for recreation didn't quite add up financially. That's when I discovered flight sims, and they were incredible! Over time, I found myself equally hooked on sim racing; it gives you that track day thrill for a fraction of the cost and hassle.
While nothing beats the real thing, today's simulations truly make the impossible possible. Whether it's racing formula cars at Spa-Francorchamps or flying F-14s inverted over the Caucasus, PC simulation has made it as real as possible. Even better, sharing these virtual adventures with my kids and seeing them inspired to pursue their own real-world passions has been incredibly rewarding.
