Job Title: Simulation Driver & Content Specialist

Company: Simwerks LLC

Location: Cecil Township, PA (In-Studio for Racing / Remote for Admin)

Status: 1099 Independent Contractor

Hours: ~5-10 Hours/Week

The Opportunity

Do you spend your free time chasing lap times? Simwerks LLC is looking for a dedicated driver to get behind the wheel of our professional-grade motion rigs and help us show the world what we’ve built. You will be responsible for representing the Simwerks brand on track and turning those sessions into engaging content for our community.

The Perks & Pay

We use a tiered pay structure that rewards both your skill on the track and your productivity behind the scenes:

  • The "Pro Driver" Rate ($10/hr): You get paid to sim race. You'll run Simwerks liveries on our top-tier motion equipment to capture high-fidelity footage.

  • The "Creator" Rate ($10–$20/hr): For the time spent turning that raw footage into polished social media content, managing our email list, and handling studio administration.

  • Performance & Sales Bonuses: Additional bonuses are available based on content performance and conversion of affiliate sales (specifics to be determined upon contract).

What You’ll Do

  • Showcase the Rig: Record races and "hot laps" that specifically highlight the immersion of the motion system and high-end peripherals.

  • Content Creation: Edit and post clips to Youtube/Instagram/etc and draft our monthly community newsletter.

  • Studio Admin: Help organize our email list and manage the schedule for potential customer demos.

  • Growth: Help us build the foundation to move from a home-based studio to a full retail venue.

Requirements

  • Sim Racing Proficiency: Must be able to drive at a level that effectively showcases the equipment's capabilities.

  • Content Skills: Basic video editing skills and a "good eye" for capturing racing action.

  • Local Presence: Must be able to commute to our Cecil Township studio for filming sessions.

  • Independent Mindset: As a 1099 contractor, you provide your own hardware for administrative/editing tasks.

🏁 Project Administrator at Simwerks LLC

About the Role - NOT CURRENTLY HIRING - But please reach out to indicate interest or discuss future opportunities at info@simwerkspitt.com

⚠️ Role Status & Timeline:

  • Hiring Decision: February 2026.

  • Context: We are currently evaluating a strategic Joint Venture. If we proceed as a standalone venue (in lieu of a partnership), this position will be activated immediately in February to drive our launch. We are accepting applications now to find the right candidate for this potential immediate start.

  • The Prime Candidate (Future Outlook) While this role starts as a contract administrative position, our goal is to find a candidate who intends to transition into the full-time Employee status as the General Manager once the venue opens.

  • Phase 1 (Launch Admin): Flexible, part-time hours focusing on setup and logistics.

  • Phase 2 (General Manager): Once the venue is operational, the role morphs into an on-site leadership position requiring availability during peak entertainment hours (Evenings & Weekends).

Compensation 💰 Phase 1 Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience). 📄 Employment Type: Part-Time, 1099 Independent Contractor (initially). 🚀

Growth Potential: Strong intent to transition the successful candidate into a W-2 Employee / General Manager role upon venue opening.

Key Responsibilities (Phase 1: Pre-Launch)

  • Venue & Administrative Coordination: Act as the administrative point of contact for real estate logistics, scheduling viewings, and coordinating access for contractors.

  • Manage the Checklist: Help the owner research and file for necessary local occupancy permits, business licenses, and insurance requirements.

  • Vendor Support: Coordinate with our technical partners on equipment ordering and troubleshooting any issues.

  • System Setup: Assist in setting up business backend systems, such as utility accounts, internet service, and vendor agreements.

Qualifications

  • Interest: A love for sim racing or motor sports with a high level of aptitude for basic PC hardware/software troubleshooting.

  • Administrative Excellence: Strong organizational skills—you are the person who keeps the calendar, the budget, and the paperwork in perfect order.

  • Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently as a 1099 contractor with clear goals but minimal daily supervision.

  • Local: Must be based in the South Hills/greater Pittsburgh area with the ability to visit the site as needed.

  • Future Availability: Must be willing and able to work typical entertainment venue hours (Evenings/Weekends) should you transition into the General Manager role.

Why Join Simwerks

  • Flexible Start: Phase 1 allows for a flexible schedule that focuses on getting tasks done, not punching a clock.

  • Career Path: This is not just a temp job; it is an audition for the leadership role of a new entertainment concept.

  • The Inside Track: A unique opportunity to build the business from the ground up and then run the show.
